Commissioned by Offaly County Council as part of the Per Cent for Art, Killane Drive Estate, EdenDerry, County Offaly, 2011

For this project Ceara engaged with residents of Killane Drive to determine what their needs were as new comers and strangers to each other in their council estate.

This commission explored ideas of home and home making, and that of creating an environment for both people and wildlife to meet,

The final sculptural installation is comprised of 20 Bird House Sculptures that light up at night time with LED lights.

Thirty five cherry blossom saplings were planted as a community garden day and five of the birdhouses double up as also seats.
